The University of Cape Town has been ranked in the 101–200 band overall by the 2022 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, which measures the success of universities in delivering the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
UCT has moved from 10th to 9th in the world and is among the top 100 institutions for a further four subjects. This is according to the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings by Subject 2022, released earlier this month.
The University of Cape Town (UCT) tied at 50th position in the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings: Sustainability 2024, released on 5 December.
UCT GSB's EMBA programme has been ranked 96th in the world in the prestigious Financial Times EMBA Ranking 2023. With 52% of attendees being women, this places the it in the top five programmes in the world for inclusivity and diversity.
The University of Cape Town (UCT) once again ranks in the top 201–300 band of universities, according to the 2023 ShanghaiRanking’s Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) published on 15 August.
